AntaGolin™

What does it do?
AntaGolin™ has been formulated to regulate insulin blood levels, especially in overweight individuals, and assists you with weight-loss and improved blood sugar control.

What is the role of insulin?
Insulin is a hormone with many different functions, the most important being to facilitate the transport of glucose across the cell membrane. Insulin is needed to open a “portal” on each cell membrane so that glucose can enter the cell.

How does insulin promote obesity?
Insulin has many other functions; two of them are to protect you from starvation in case of famine. Firstly, insulin helps stockpile energy during the good times by stimulating the conversion of glucose into fat. Secondly, insulin prevents you from wasting your valuable store of winter fat by actively blocking the release of fat from your fat cells.

What is insulin resistance?
Insulin resistance (IR) is a condition during which normal amounts of insulin are no longer sufficient to satisfy the body’s requirements. To compensate, the body responds by producing more insulin, causing blood insulin levels to rise. This causes you to store more as well as burn less fat.

How does AntaGolin™ work?
AntaGolin™ has been formulated to mimic the natural biochemical role of insulin regarding the transport of glucose across the cell membrane. In addition, it also contains agents that improve insulin receptor sensitivity, thereby making your own insulin more effective. This duel effect helps lower your insulin levels, thereby decreasing fat deposition and increasing fat breakdown.

How does AntaGolin™ affect the pancreas?
Although no direct studies have been conducted on AntaGolin™ and the normal life cycle of the pancreas, it is well documented that products of a similar nature (that display an insulin sparing effect), usually benefits the body by increasing the lifecycle of the pancreas and extending its insulin production capability. Numerous studies have also indicated that if insulin resistance is left untreated, the natural lifecycle of the pancreas is dramatically reduced.

Can AntaGolin™ cause low blood sugar?
Yes, due to the fact that it mimics insulin regarding the crossing of blood glucose over cell membranes, AntaGolin™ may well cause symptoms of low blood sugar if taken on an empty stomach. It is therefore recommended that AntaGolin™ only be taken during/after meals.

If AntaGolin™ mimics the effects of insulin, why does it not cause weight gain?
Unlike insulin, AntaGolin™ has a singular and selective function, namely to assist with glucose transport across the cell membrane. Due to its chemical structure, however, it plays no role during the stockpiling of energy and cannot stimulate the conversion of glucose into fat. It also does not block the release of fat from your fat cells. This unique difference gives AntaGolin™ its therapeutic advantage.

When should you use AntaGolin™?

  • If you battle to lose excess body fat
  • If you suffer from insulin resistance
  • If you are a type 2 diabetic
  • If you are pre-diabetic
  • If you have polycystic ovarian disease

AntaGolin™ can safely be taken by overweight children from age 8 and no prescription is required.

Can you use AntaGolin™ with prescription medication?
Yes, AntaGolin™ can safely be taken with most prescription drugs, including the diabetic drug metformin. Caution, however, must be taken with all classes of oral anti-diabetic medication, as the blood sugar lowering effect of AntaGolin™ may potentiate the action of this group of products. Dosage adjustments may therefore be required.
